Description Anthony Basile gentoo-dev 2011-08-04 09:55:30 UTC
sys-fs/sysfsutils is broken and dead upstream. Dependency on it needs to be
removed so we can remove it from the tree.

Reproducible: Always

I looked in the source tree and the ChangeLog entry for "2009-11-15 00:39:03 +0100 Martin Preuss" says "removed dependency of libsysfs". Grepping the code, I did see references to $(libsysfs_includes) in checksuite/Makefile.am, ctapi/Makefile.am, libcyberjack/Makefile.am and their related Makefile.in, but when I built the source and ldd-ed all the binaries and libraries looking for linkage to libsysfs, I found none. The binaries also worked without complaint.

Maybe check with upstream that dep on libsysfs is really gone and then remove the RDEPEND.

Thank you, Samuli!
