Description Brant Gurganus 2004-01-09 13:02:08 UTC
Grub spits out probing error messages when it probes my computer's drives. Every message relates to probing for floppy drives. My system does not have floppy drives. Version of GruThe login prompt does not allow me to return the cursor to the previous line if the first line overfilled the first line.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type a string of text longer than your console and let it wrap.
2. Try to return to the previous line by using backspace.
Actual Results:
It does not work.

Expected Results:
It should work.

have you tried grub-0.94 ?
Comment 2 Brant Gurganus 2004-05-03 14:25:32 UTC
Woe, some database corruption occured. These are two issues I reported spliced together. I was referring to the login for the shell, not grub. The grub stuff does not apply to this issue.

please try out grub-0.94-r1 and/or grub-0.95.20040823

if these dont resolve your issues, please open new bugs ... like you say, this bug has been corrupted
