After doing an emerge rsync the wrong file was downloaded.
/usr/portage/gnome-base/control-center/control-center-1.4.0.5-r1.ebuild 's
contents appear to be  media-libs/gdk-pixbuf.

The system it was on was fresly installed today so some server must have had a
corrupt file. 

Is there not a checksum/md5sum used so the mirrors don't pass out bad files?
