I’ve searched a long time for something like this, and it’s really nice.
If one wants a lightweight SyncML solution, to e.g. sync your mobile phone to Thunderbird/Lightning, Kontact, etc, this it the way to go. (Which I know is a very much requested feature, since OpenSync is dead for all practical purposes.)
Certainly way easier to set up than than giant mess that is Funambol, Horde, etc.  ;)

So I thought I’d share, and maybe somebody with more skill in writing ebuilds wants it too. :)
