test? ( json-glib[introspection=] ) looks misplaced.

If you want introspection on libdbusmenu you probably need json-glib with introspection, but if you don't, why would you refuse to work with an introspection-enabled json-glib?

Can you please comment on the need for that dependency in the ebuild if there is one, or replace it with [introspection?] instead?

I do not think that no-introspection is needed and I cannot recall thinking like this. It is probably a mistake.
