The latest version fixes bugs and adds features. From 2.052 on dmd supports the x86-64 platform.

Reproducible: Always




This ebuild is based on the dmd-2.046 in d-overlay (which has inactive for over a year) and adds the bash-completion file from the official Ubuntu package.

is the same package dev-lang/dmd-bin ? or is newer ebuild?

This is newer than the unmaintained ebuilds dmd-bin (2.008) in the tree and dmd in d-overlay (2.046). By now we have AMD64 support and we don't have to use precompiled binaries any more.

dmd 2.046 was released on May 10, 2010
dmd 2.008 was released on Nov 27, 2007

These are revision numbers and each increment equals a new release.

I have pushed the ebuild to the "sunrise" overlay. At the next "sunrise" review it should be available via layman. :)

The review is done. dmd-2.054 and 2.055 are now available in sunrise.
