with gnome_icon_theme
Did you have hicolor-icon-theme installed? I am not sure if pcmanfm requires gnome-icon-theme explicitly (In reply to comment #4) > Did you have hicolor-icon-theme installed? I am not sure if pcmanfm requires > gnome-icon-theme explicitly Yes, I previously installed hicolor-icon-theme because Firefox-bin console output complains about it. I tried installing lxde-icon-theme rather than gnome-icon-theme but same result : pcmanfm window is not properly displayed. I attach pcmanfm console output for you. pcmanfm console output
I have no gnome-icon-theme installed. I only have lxde-icon-theme and hicolor-icon-theme and pcmanfm works just fine. Try to use lxappearance to set your icon theme correctly (In reply to comment #7) > I have no gnome-icon-theme installed. I only have lxde-icon-theme and > hicolor-icon-theme and pcmanfm works just fine. Try to use lxappearance to set > your icon theme correctly That's it ! With lxappearance, I select lxde-icon-theme and pcmanfm works as expected. Note that hicolor-icon-theme is not recognized by lxappearance. virtual/freedesktop-icon-theme added to ~testing ebuilds. This bug can close since it was more like a user specific problem and not a package one |
