Description Bjarke Istrup Pedersen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-08 10:26:37 UTC
When using a PCMCIA NIC, you should not add net.ethX you the default runlevel, since cardmgr starts it for you.
I have changed my net.eth1 to require pcmcia, so that is not the problem.
When it cardmgr starts net.eth1, it tells me to du depscan.sh to fix dependencies, but since net.eth1 is not in any runlevels, it is not scanned.
The network comes up allright, but it is really annoying to look at.

Reproducible: Always

Old and outdated, has been working for a long time now.
