Description destroyedlolo 2011-07-24 12:23:31 UTC
Hello,

I'm currently installing a machine following the documentation.

"emerge syslog-ng vixie-cron"
failed because flex compilation complained about "gnu m4" missing.

Doing "emerge m4 syslog-ng vixie-cron" solved the issue.

So all, in all, it seems m4 is missing in flex dependencies ...

Best regards,

Laurent

(Sorry, I did several emerge since, so I can't provide the related log).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install from scrach (using the related handbook)
2. fail at "emerge syslog-ng vixie-cron" step
Actual Results:
flex's configure fails as m4 is not found

Expected Results:
flex to be configured
