Hugin needs mprotect disabled, otherwise you get the following error. LLVM ERROR: Allocation failed when allocating new memory in JIT Can't allocate RWX Memory: Operation not permitted

I think it's a permission the software needs to have, but it should be fixed in some patch, you didn't have to deal with this.

Upon starting hugin in a terminal I see the following output (using intel video driver and eudev input drivers for X): libGL error: MESA-LOADER: could not create udev device for fd 5 intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output error Unfortunately my syslog seems to be messing up and I may be missing some relevant output to the system logs (or maybe not ... who knows for sure?).
