It looks like some RGB color swap. You are using compositing, yes? Does this happen with mesa-9999 from the x11 overlay too? i do use kwin's compositing. Actually as you can see it's not all RGB colors broken, just some. I tought it was svg stuff only so i tried with or without openvg flag. no change. Didn't tray overlay's, not yet at least. quite bad because this rc1 seems to fix some issues with chromium webgl init failures. anyhow there is the problem with aliasing too, Konsole fonts are quite foggy bu readable, GTK apps look better Fonts might look bad because colors are used for subpixel hinting, and if the colors are wrong then the hinting will be bad. tried 9999 today's live git same issues of 7.11_rc1. reverted to 7.10.3 It is probably a good idea if you report it upstream on bugs.freedesktop.org, so that nouveau developers are aware of the problem. You can add the bug URL to this bug so we can see whether it is feasible to backport any patches. patch is at http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/mesa-dev/2011-July/009563.html While waiting for upstream to release a new rc or final version, can you please apply the patch to portage tree? I have tried and it works flawlessy (In reply to comment #8) > patch is at > http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/mesa-dev/2011-July/009563.html > > While waiting for upstream to release a new rc or final version, can you please > apply the patch to portage tree? > > I have tried and it works flawlessy Cf. also https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374671#c3 Please open a new bug if the font issue still exists. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 374671 *** |
