fresh claws-mail on the fresh system crashes right after account creation. It crashes always with the following launches.

I have performed re-emerge of claws-mail*, and abovementioned libs (x11-libs/libX11 x11-libs/startup-notification), but there is no result. 

#revdepend informed not about any inconsistencies.

Probably duplicate of bug #362297.
You should try with 3.7.9-r1 (which will be stabilized into bug #372957).

This definitely looks like a duplicate.  Ivan, thanks for your bug report, but please try Claws 3.7.9-r1 which just went stable on amd64.
