Description Martin von Gagern 2011-07-13 19:39:43 UTC
I'm using the following packages to play a flash movie, e.g. arbitrarily chosen from youtube.

www-client/firefox-5.0-r2
www-plugins/nspluginwrapper-1.4.4-r1
www-plugins/adobe-flash-10.3.181.26

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play movie
2. Switch to full-screen mode
3. Press ESC to leave full-screen mode

Actual Results:
2. Video freezes except for a tiny square at the left-most rim. Sound continues.
3. Video plays as it should.

Expected Results:
Video image should play even in full-screen.

This was first observed after switching to the 1.4.4-r1 revision of nspluginwrapper. Reverting back to 1.4.4 made the problem go away.

Updated to 1.4.4-r1 again, this time things work. So either something went wrong during the last build without actually triggering a build error, or the problem appears only sporadically.

Created attachment 280011 [details]
emerge --info

Output from emerge --info after the second upgrade, where things do work. No other packages or config items changed in between, so first build should have had the very same conditions.

Please try to reproduce running firefox from a terminal to look for errors when freezing
