Patch for octave-3.4.3.ebuild
octave 3.4.3 is out. Latest ebuild builds fine with patch applied which takes out all octave-3.4.0 patches that have been applied upstream or don't work. Thanks!
Thanks for the patch, I'll apply to my overlay and update that way. Any chance of this getting into portage? This pkg is now three releases behind on Gentoo. Sorry for straightforwardness, but what was the reason for not adding new ebuild so far? Any idea when 3.4.3 will appear in portage tree? According to the octave e-mail list they are already planning 3.6.0 release. now in cvs. thanks for your patience. it seems we are short of our octave maintainer, especially for octave-forge packages. if anyone wants to step in please let us know (In reply to comment #7) > now in cvs. thanks for your patience. it seems we are short of our octave > maintainer, especially for octave-forge packages. if anyone wants to step in > please let us know Well, I depend on octave anyhow... What should I do beyond preparing ebuilds? (In reply to comment #8) > Well, I depend on octave anyhow... What should I do beyond preparing ebuilds? Basically maitaining the g-octave database, and see how the g-octave bugs could be solved. Please contact Rafael, email on comment #1.
