SDLcam-0.7.0.ebuild (new package)
gcc -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes `sdl-config --cflags` `xml2-config --cflags` -DPROG_VERSION=\"0.7.0\" -DMMX -DTIMER -g -c webcam.cpp webcam.cpp:48: default argument given for parameter 2 of `cWebcam::cWebcam(const char*, int = 1)' webcam.h:24: after previous specification in `cWebcam::cWebcam(const char*, int = 1)' and it dies.. doh.. though I'm using gcc3.1 so that probably the reason.. What are you using Matt? Naz upseting if this is another gcc 3.x casualty. i'll spend some time with it. have you ever contacted the author about this issue Matt? Just wondering Naz I've sent another email to the author. I have yet to hear from him. I've got response from the author. I'll take care of the ebuild and post by tonight. Ok so no posting by "tonight" (as it is the next day), BUT I received another email from the author stating there is still one small glitch. I should have the latest, fixed version soon. Here's the latest, confirmed by the author to be successfully compiled on at least one gcc3.x machine. I have no gcc3.x available atm, so test and enjoy. Created attachment 3431 [details]

Here's the ebuild. Should take care of gcc3.x issues.
This is set to go. Just waiting for the freeze (BRRR!) to end before I commit. Package is in portage and masked for testing/unfreeze (mostly unfreeze). I've done so much testing of this app you would LAFF. I'm a personal user of SDLcam myself on a semi-daily basis, so I can attest to it's stability at least somewhat. |
