With C[XX]FLAGS=-O0, starting source-highlight (as happens during src_compile, but also outside that environment) has it loop endlessly, in as many processes as make has jobs, and consuming all available CPU time. With gcc-4.5.1 instead of gcc-4.4.5, src_compile and everything else succeeds, including the entire test suite passing. and since 4.5.3 is stable on hppa I guess we can close this. |
