I can confirm the bug, note that when downloading from the website the package filename is google-talkplugin_current_amd64.deb (In reply to comment #1) > I can confirm the bug, note that when downloading from the website the package > filename is google-talkplugin_current_amd64.deb That's always the download from the main page. _2.1.7.0_ is available from the google servers, though. The package is cleanly written, so just copying 2.1.6.0 to google-talkplugin-2.1.7.0.ebuild and running 'ebuild manifest' on it is enough to get it installed and running. What portage version are you using?
