This ebuild needs some attention.
Hi guys, and sorry for the delays with this package I don't have much time lately with all the work in the RL. We have various problems with this ebuild, let's see some of them, upstream seems dead since a few years, so the software seems like it's no longer maintained. I hacked a few patches to add group support that we have only downstream AFAIK, that should be merged upstream, but it's dead. Anyway like I said in another bug, this software should be replaced with all much modern libfprint infrastructure, and then deleted from tree. So maybe we can point the users to migrate to libfprint and then erase the ebuild. No worries. I've applied the patch and cleaned up the ebuild. (In reply to comment #3) > No worries. I've applied the patch and cleaned up the ebuild. Thanks |
