This compiles fine on the couple dozen x86 boxes I've installed it on, so I suspect this is either related to an incompatible version of db (db 4.1 perhaps?) and/or distcc. Can you try compiling it w/ distcc disabled and please also let us know what version of db you have installed. # emerge -pv db These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done!
