PORTAGE_BUNZIP2_COMMAND, PORTAGE_COMPRESS, PORTAGE_COMPRESS_FLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS it compiles successfully by gcc-4.4.5 I've built it successfully with gcc 4.5.2 but had to change the CFLAGS to "-O1 -march=native" from my usual "-O2 -march=native -pipe". Could you try that? Using gcc 4.5.x the translate.o takes about 3GB from what I've seen. It takes significantly less with gcc 4.4.x. Not something we're going to fix in qemu's sources as the code does compile correctly, unless of course the toolchain guys can come up with a specific culprit. Yes, i have successfully compiled qemu-kvm on 4.5 with -O1 too, but gcc was allocate ~2GiB of memory. same here(gcc-4.5.2 with 2G RAM), the compiling process is always killed by oom-killer. duplicate of bug 355861? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 355861 *** |
