As a stab in the dark, I'd say it's time for python-updater (and do you really need all of those older python versions ?). (In reply to comment #1) > As a stab in the dark, I'd say it's time for python-updater (and do you really > need all of those older python versions ?). I can't get python updater to complete as vte pukes. Given that the root problem is PyQt4 breakage, this bug is more or less in the same class as bug 350320. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 350320 *** (In reply to comment #3) > Given that the root problem is PyQt4 breakage, this bug is more or less in the > same class as bug 350320. > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 350320 *** Quite unlikely - there the main message is: RuntimeError: Failed to load the Progress Indicator plugin: the PyQt4.QtCore module is version -1 but the progress_indicator module requires version 0 here, it's plain: ImportError: No module named PyQt4 So, as I said, time for python-updater. Either way, it's a dependency issue related to PyQt4, and there's nothing that can be done on the calibre side. *** Bug 370307 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
