Bug 368493

Summary: gtk-gnutella should have ipv6 USE flag, because ipv6 is optional in gtk-gnutella

Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: minor

OS: Linux
Whiteboard:
Package list:
Runtime testing required: ---

Description Rafał Kłys 2011-05-23 19:59:43 UTC
gtk-gnutella support for ipv6 is optional. There is a --disable-ipv6 flag, so there should be added appropriate ipv6 USE flag added to ebuild

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Add to ebuild:
 - ipv6 to IUSE
 - inside src_configure:
     if ! use ipv6; then
                myconf="${myconf} --disable-ipv6"
     fi

All build options of gtk-gnutella can be shown by running ./build.sh --help

Does the ipv6 functionality cause problems for you? If so, which problems?
Comment 2 Rafał Kłys 2011-05-25 16:37:31 UTC
No problems at all. I just think that if there is possibility to disable ipv6 during compilation, it should be exposed through ebuild.
