I'm guessing you have either the 'emacs' or 'xemacs' USE flag set? Post your emerge --info if not. Upstream have removed gnuplot.texi from their CVS: <http://gnuplot.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gnuplot/gnuplot/docs/gnuplot.texi?hideattic=0&view=log> Therefore, either Emacs or XEmacs will now be needed at build time to generate gnuplot.texi from gnuplot.doc. See also bug 366129. I don't see this as a problem, but there are two possible way to fix it: -add a recent gnuplot.info to the filesdir -disable the generation of gnuplot.info with "USE=-doc" Both solutions are not really nice, that is why I prefer to leave it like it is. I personally don't care much about having emacs installed, even if I am in favor of vim. One can always uninstall emacs after gnuplot was built. *** Bug 369081 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 369097 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
