Note: localhost ~ # cat /etc/portage/package.keywords |grep php # BEGIN: dev-php5/ffmpeg-php-0.6.0 =dev-php5/ffmpeg-php-0.6.0 ~amd64 # END: dev-php5/ffmpeg-php-0.6.0 localhost ~ # I rem'd out the line, as in: #=dev-php5/ffmpeg-php-0.6.0 ~amd64 in /etc/portage/package.keywords and got the same result. There is only one version of ffmpeg-php, dev-php5/ffmpeg-php-0.6.0-r1, and this one is stable so your keywords file does not affect anything. Which version of ffmpeg do you have installed. I tried building php-ffmpeg both against 0.6 0.6_p25767 and against 0.7_rc1 and both work fine. I did not try building against any version of libav. Please test with a supported (i.e stable) version. You are right. I remarked the last line in my /etc/portage/package.keywords now that version 6 is in Gentoo: # # to get R .6 # #media-video/ffmpeg ** I emerge media-video/ffmpeg pulling in 0.6_p25767(08:46:28 05/23/11). I successfully emerged dev-php5/ffmpeg-php. Thank you. |
