Is there some reason why "emerge <package1> <package2> <package3>".. etc.. isn't a valid solution to "queue up a bunch of emerge installs"? If you need it to be executed at a specific time, use atd or cron. Hope that helps. and if your concern is to d/l them all at first and then compile, then you have Bug 1661 Thanks...didn't know emerge had that cabibility! Thanks for your help. Closing this bug since its not needed anymore. |
