The issue here is that you were using a comment in the middle of a variable definition. There isn't anything for us to document for this. |

Remove the line "# usepeerdns" from /etc/conf.d/net or no # between " ". It was very hard to find the bugreport #218786 with my error message. Luckily had help from irc. The infomation from bug #218786 comment 15 and 34 should be added to the openrc migration guide.
