Trying to compile GIMP GIT, Libtool expects aforementioned file in

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib64/libgailutil.la' or unhandled argument `/usr/lib64/libgailutil.la'



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to make gimp-9999/git

lafilefixer --justfixit or similar did not fix this.

revdep-rebuild didn;t, either, just in case someone was going to suggest that.

Please provide full build.log and explain a bit more what exactly occurs when running "revdep-rebuild", doesn't it even try to rebuild anything?

grep -r libgailutil.la /usr/lib/*.la

output

search for la files in /usr/lib that have libgailutil in it and rebuild packages providing those.
