How is this a dup. of bug #14559?
This is a build for the stable gnome2 port of gnomesword. the bug mentioned is for the 0.7.9 build of gnomesword and only lniks to the cvs version of gnomesword2.

Hands off please, we know what we are doing here. Thank you.

Maybe it being the same package makes it a duplicate ? Makes enough sense doesn't it ?

gnomesword and gnomesword2 are incompatible in every sense. They have a different package name, for a start, even if the difference is only a '2'. It's possible to install 2.0.0 and 0.7.9 side by side, AFAICT, so perhaps these should be slotted '1' and '2'? Anyway, I would suggest that this probably _isn't_ a dupe.

They have the same functionality, it is unlikely that the gnome1 version is supported/will be supported much longer so i do not intend to invest time in that. It's not the really the question about what is possible, but about what is reasonable to us.

As far as gs2 goes, i had a look at it, but it didn't really run smooth so it'll have to wait until i get some more time.
