This seems to happen if x ist not installed on the system when you try to install nxserver. I think nxserver should depend on X. *** Bug 36484 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** i would like to merged xfree now manual. I've added some missing dependencies to the nxcomp ebuild. Give it an hour or so for the new ebuild to show up on your rsync mirror, and then try again. Let me know how you get on. Stu ok mergeing net-misc/nxcomp-1.3.0 gos fine, but now a new problem with nx: >>> emerge (3 of 3) net-misc/nxserver-business-1.3.0 to / >>> Downloading http://www.nomachine.com/download/nxserver-small-business-1.3.0/RedHat-9.0/nxserver-1.3.0-23.i386.rpm --23:55:13-- http://www.nomachine.com/download/nxserver-small-business-1.3.0/RedHat-9.0/nxserver-1.3.0-23.i386.rpm => `/usr/portage/distfiles/nxserver-1.3.0-23.i386.rpm' Resolving www.nomachine.com... 151.8.97.29 Connecting to www.nomachine.com[151.8.97.29]:80... connected. File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//nxserver-1.3.0-23.i386.rpm Okay, problem was that the digest information for the rpm file was incorrect (and portage doesn't do a good job of explaining that). I've committed a new digest file to CVS. You can fix this locally by running rm -f /usr/portage/distfiles/nxserver-small* ebuild ./nxserver-business-1.3.0.ebuild digest Best regards, Stu Closing old bug. |
