Description Tony Laszlo 2003-12-25 05:38:23 UTC
when emerging
scim v0.6.1 with scim-chinese v0.2.4
the pinyin support does not get installed
properly.

ls /usr/lib/scim-1.0/
reveals that there are these two directories:
0.6.0 0.6.1
Comment 1 Tony Laszlo 2004-01-16 14:55:21 UTC
the newly released ebuild still has this problem.

ls /usr/lib/scim-1.0/
0.8.0 0.8.2
Comment 2 Tony Laszlo 2004-02-06 05:09:38 UTC
the pinyin server loads if one copies it like so:
cp /usr/lib/scim-1.0/0.8.2/Server/Server/pinyin.so /usr/lib/scim-1.0/0.8.0/Server/

to fix the bug, the ebuild has to be adjusted accordingly.

sorry this has taken so long to fix. it was in fact a mistake all along to install in version specific directories because scim was able to search the non-versioned directories for modules all along.

this is now fixed since scim-0.9.0 and scim-chinese-0.2.7

thanks for the report.
