LibreOffice apparantly uses (at least for now) the same shell environment variables as OpenOffice. So, when I prepend "OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome" to "lowriter", viola, I can get the Open File GTK dialog. I guess because I don't run Gnome, but have GTK (and have QT, without a full KDE), the default is to... do nothing? I run Fluxbox, and I can deal with this, but I'd think something better should be thought up for out-of-the-box function for those who live a bit more simply. :) (And for the Fluxbox users who may happen by here, here's an example "menu" file entry to make this work: [exec] (LOWriter) {OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome lowriter} ) Cheers! Do you still see this with 3.4.1? No feedback, can't reproduce, so closing |
