Here's a simple ebuild for the ventrilo voice communication server. I'm doing this in part because there is no ebuild for it currently and I'd like to familiarize myself with creating ebuilds (I would like to help the distrubition in the future). Also, SpanKY is lazy :P

I suggest throwing it in media-sound/ventrilo-server-bin

Note, I was unable to correctly fill in the SRC_URI to the ventrilo homepage because of a weird download script they used. So what I did was just place the gzip'd binary on my server for testing purposes. It seems like the ventrilo people don't have a ftp either to allow downloading of the binary. I guess this can be resolved once the binary gets thrown in distfiles/

Regardless, the ebuild is enough to get the ventrilo server working now, and it's been tested on two of my machines.

I really wish they'd come out with a Linux client for this.
