The 4.4 branch is rock stable. I would be happy to see this being maintained for a long time.

I would also like to see gcc 4.4.6 in Gentoo. Since gcc 4.4.5 is the current stable compiler and the heart and soul of Gentoo, it should be maintained very well.

I can test 4.4.6 on MIPS64(el)/n32/Loongson once available
