I sometimes wonder what all those systems that crash with system-sqlite have in common, cause I haven't experienced the crash myself, even back when in-tree ebuild didn't have that option and I needed to add it on my own. This would be most logical, why this is assigned to mozilla team is beyond me tho. After recompiling again with system-sqlite back on, icecat now works on my default profile with everything at the latest version, but segfaults if I try to create a new profile. If I downgrade sqlite to version 3.7.5 then creating a profile works, so it looks like this is the same as bug 363969. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 363969 *** |
Firefox and icecat segfault at start if built with USE="system-sqlite". Disabling this flag and rebuilding net-libs/xulrunner and the browsers allows them to start.
