I forgot to say that also disabling all of installed extension and plugins doesn't give any help (safe mode + disable all plugins by hand). If disabling javascript fixes the issue mostly what makes you think it is not a bug in the site? the fact that the binary version from mozilla.org is working correctly makes me think that there could be some problem on my side, likely gentoo related. But by myself I can't get it. CFLAGS and LDFLAGS aren't that aggressive, dependencies have been all recompiled with the same compiler version. This is all I've tried so far. Also note that chromium does open the site correctly too. firefox (mis)behaves the same with 4.0.1 in the meantime I've also tried with opera and epiphany and they both open the site correctly. new firefox-5.0 seems to work correctly. (In reply to comment #5) > new firefox-5.0 seems to work correctly. Alright, closing as OBSOLETE then since 4.0 is end-of-lifed. Thanks for getting back to us! |
