This is being taken care of with the kernel-2 eclass now. The symlink still needs to be recreated, but the ebuilds which provide modules for the kernel no longer rely on the /usr/src/linux symlink. I'm guessing it's safe to assume that interest in this has never caught on. If you have no objections, I'd like to close this bug. Four months old. No updates. Closing. |
