I formerly had Mozilla 1.4-rc3, and decided to upgrade to Mozilla 1.5. After backing up my .mozilla directory with settings, I compiled Mozilla 1.5-r1 without problems, and it runs. However, every time I start Mozilla it displays an empty list of profiles. I then create a profile called "Default User", click the "Start Mozilla" button, and the application correctly detects my settings and runs. (I mean that my e-mail settings, bookmarks, and homepage are detected.) When I exit Mozilla and restart it, it again presents me with an empty list of profiles, and I have to "create" the profile again.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type "mozilla" from a command prompt within X.
2. Create a profile matching user from previous Mozilla version.
3. Run Mozilla for a while, exit normally.
4. Type "mozilla" to restart the application.


Actual Results:  
I tried this several times, and each time was presented with an empty list of
profiles. Whether I click the "Don't ask at startup" checkbox or not makes no
difference. I also noticed that I had a "default" directory for another profile
in my .mozilla directory. Deleting the "default" directory made no difference.

Expected Results:  
I expect Mozilla to remember my profile, and not ask for this information every
time it starts.

I have installed Mozilla 1.6 today after running "emerge sync", and am no longer having this problem. Mozilla 1.6 read the .mozilla/ directory created by Mozilla 1.4 without problems.
