Crashes after the application starts and goes Segment Fault.

This doesn't help you solve the problem, but definitely don't run it as root.

Run it as a regular user that is in the games group with strace and attach the output as text/plain please.

I run to add the time the user root in group games and other users with whom I did not log into the system.
What would change if i ran the game as root?
