ok some dev with gtk1 mozilla to test & submit this ? 1.3.13a is out, which requires reworking the ebuild because it still decompresses to a folder called galeon-1.3.13 sorry for the delay, just went trough the ebuild list and spotted this forgotten bug. Reassigning to hanno who is the 1st line maintainer. Well, the question is, do we still support galeon-1.2.x? I don't know if it even works with latest mozilla and we have gtk2 now in the default profile, so it probably won't work on any current gentoo system. I suggest removing all galeon-1.2.x stuff. I won't maintain it, because I cannot install it on any of my systems (they all have mozilla with gtk2). If it works, why not ? We don't need to force people to use gtk2 here (we don't do that anywhere in gnome). You could be a bit more easy on the testing procedure and just make sure the ebuild is syntactical correct and depend on users to test its stability in ~arch, which I doubt is hardly a problem with stable updates. Galeon 1.3 is after all still officially a devel series. *** Bug 48150 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Added the ebuild, untested, as I said above, I don't have a gtk1-mozilla. To the reporter: Can you please test if it works? |
