Description Sven Müller 2011-03-30 17:05:28 UTC
My configuration:
- Windowmanager is e16
- I'm using KDE infrastructure (KDM, Systemsettings, KDE apps)
- Theme for apps is qtcurve-qt4

Issue:
- After upgrading from 4.6.0 to 4.6.1 the theme wasn't shown anymore.

Analyzes:
Before using the KDE-theme I had to set it in qtconfig. But this time the kde-themes were disappeared in qtconfig. Instead I've seen an entry "Unknown". In .config/Trolltech.conf there was still an entry: style="QtCurve". The paths of Oxygen and QtCurve (usr/lib/kde/plugins/) are set correctly.

Workaround:
I had to set the QT_PLUGIN_PATH variable to get it work again. Thus I put it in /etc/env.d/44qt4:

QT_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/lib64/kde4/plugins/

I guess it's a problem of qt-core or qt-gui or maybe any kde package. Installing the related packages should set that variable.

Reproducible: Always
