Description Francisco José Cañizares Santofimia 2003-12-17 13:24:28 UTC
Using openmotif 2.2.2-r3, can't compile some programs (mtink for example). Perhaps because the 02 Dec 2003; Heinrich Wendel <lanius@gentoo.org> openmotif-2.1.30-r3.ebuild,
openmotif-2.2.2-r3.ebuild:
reverted include changes, it makes more sense to change the include path

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:
When compiling mtink, it didn't find the Xm/Xm.h path.

Expected Results:
It should find that path, and compile.

2.2.2-r3 is hard masked, do not use it

Comment 2 Francisco José Cañizares Santofimia 2003-12-18 09:08:05 UTC
??????? What are the similarities between portage and openmotif? And, yes, it's hardmasked, but the hardmasked programs are for test it and report bugs, so if you don't want to people use ebuilds, don't put it into portage tree.
Comment 3 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-18 12:20:28 UTC
hard masked packages are not intended for testing, they are known to cause problems. ~arch packages are for testing.

Sorry should be a duplicate of 29388
