Use libv4l1.
I've tried this with my uvc webcam, but it fails like this:
$ mvc -d /dev/video0
MVC version 0.8.7
Press CTRL-Z to switch program to daemon mode.
ioctl (VIDIOCSPICT): Invalid argument
ioctl (VIDIOCSCHAN): Invalid argument
No mmap support, Use read instead.
v4l init fault!
But I'm not sure if I'm using the program right. Notice that Camorama is working with the libv4l1 library with the same camera.
Perhaps it's time to lastrite the package?
Go for it for what I'm concerned. done gone |
