Problem: sys-utils/Makefile: ifeq "$(ARCH)" "intel" MAN8:=$(MAN8) rdev.8 ramsize.8 rootflags.8 vidmode.8 USRSBIN:=$(USRSBIN) rdev endif In CVS, thanks! do you actually need/use rdev ? Ummm... This bug is over a year old. No comment was given as to why it was reopened. read comment #3 :P the question is, does amd64 actually need rdev ? upstream maintainer considers it 'ancient cruft' that really shouldnt be spread to newer machines when it's not needed punted the patch |
