As we are trying to drop libgnomeprint stuff because it's deprecated since gtk+-2.10 and unmaintained for a long time, I saw linsmith is still needing it. Looks like it has no new release since 2008 and I couldn't find any port to new printing system :-/, looks like debian people is considering its removal.. but I don't know if this has a replacement or not:

Just mailed upstream to ask if there is actual some work to port to new print system. Let's wait for an answer for some days.

Btw, do we have a timeframe for removing libgnomeprint from the tree?

As wxGTK will need it until 2.9-3.0 is unmasked, I guess it won't be dropped soon :-/

Upstream is aware of the problem and will work on it.

Upstream provided a new version which switched to Pango/Cairo.
