When I emerge synce libsynce and synce-sibsynce are reportinf file collisions and emerge just stops

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. echo "source /usr/portage/local/layman/make.conf" >> /etc/make.conf
2. edit /etc/layman/layman.cfg and add the SynCE source to the overlays option: 
overlays : http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/overlays/layman-global.txtBR            http://synce.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/synce/dist/gentoo/synce-wm5-layman.xmlBR
3. layman -a synce
4. emerge synce

Don't use the overlay, it's badly outdated and completely unsupported by Gentoo.

Ok I won't use it. How am I suppose to synchronize my mobile with gentoo?

Both synce-connector and synce-sync-engine are in Portage. And any libraries they need. Upstream has not released synce-trayicon that works with the udev backend yet.

That said, this is no helpdesk and there's nothing to fix in tree...
