A dummy (maybe) suggestion. Meta package gnome-light contains the Yelp help browser, that pulls among other dependencies xulrunner. Since it takes a long time to compile, and GNOME users on old PCs could avoid to build this (and surely among them there are some who doesn't want to build xulrunner), couldn't be useful to set yelp as a USE flag?
