The policy on perl modules in Gentoo is that they are only specifically included in the portage tree if they are a dependency of an app or they provide utilities. If that is not the case, g-cpan.pl should be used for installation instead. Does this ebuild fill a dependency of something already in portage? I've watched this module mature and do like it, but have to agree with essamer - it doesn't satisfy any dependancies. Closing out bug until there is justification for the addition to portage. |
