I recently reinstalled Gentoo on my computer, which is a PC (x86) running a Pentium 3 processor. I used a recent Gentoo Install CD, installing from stage 1 and using a 2.4 kernel. As I installed it, I was working in a window with a picture in the background and the Gentoo logo in the bottom right. Beneath the logo were these words:

gentoo technologies incorporated.

That dot bothered me. It would make sense if you used the abbreviation "Inc."; otherwise, the dot should be removed. I suggest changing the words to either "gentoo technologies incorporated" or "Gentoo Technologies, Inc." beneath the logo.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
