What is the name of the filter specificaly? I have looked into porting over some of the filters from DScaler. It's not too hard, but it is work. I mean, tvtime isn't really 'based' on DScaler, we just have support for some of their deinterlacers. All of the video processing in tvtime, the UI, everything, is all our own, so it's not as trivial as it might sound. Oh, my mistake then. I thought they shared a lot more of the codebase. In any case, I can't imagine this filter is *that* difficult to implement, but what do I know. ;) It's the Temporal Comb filter (http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/Help/TemporalComb.htm), and it does a really nice job of cleaning up the picture from composite inputs. If there's a guide somewhere to porting the filters, I'm willing to take a shot at it, since I *really* want this filter. :) Apologies for the time it's taken to get to this, must be one of the longest outstanding bugs. Upstream feature request for tvtime, not something for our end. |
