I'm only getting: [...] FAIL: server-auth-test SYNCHRONOUS SSL TEST PASSED ASYNCHRONOUS SSL TEST PASSED PASS: ssl-test ======================================================================== 3 of 17 tests failed Please report to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=libsoup ======================================================================== maybe some setup difference :( could you visit bug #326957 see if some of it applies to your case ? test pass for me, but I remember that maybe some "playing" unsetting some variables could change the behavior :-/ Please add a "set > set.out" command at src_test phase just before running make check and, after getting the failure, attach set.out to see what variables are exported in your case Created attachment 265277 [details]

Or are they "random"? (In reply to comment #8) > Are you able to reproduce these test failures? Or are they "random"? They occur each time. I wasn't able to have them pass even one time. Try to build libsoup manually and run tests (In reply to comment #10) > Try to build libsoup manually and run tests Test fails the same way when doing: # ebuild /usr/portage/net-libs/libsoup-2.32.2.ebuild clean prepare # cd ${S} # ./configure # make && make check Please try completely outside portage (for example building in your home) to report to upstream if you are still able to reproduce (that way we prevent upstream from thinking (or wanting to think) it's our problem) (In reply to comment #12) > Please try completely outside portage (for example building in your home) to > report to upstream if you are still able to reproduce (that way we prevent > upstream from thinking (or wanting to think) it's our problem) # tar xvf /usr/portage/distfiles/libsoup-2.32.2.tar.bz2 -C . # cd libsoup-2.32.2 # ./configure # make && make check fails as well. Will open an upstream bug later if you prefer. Yes, open it and post the link here please. Thanks Are you able to reproduce this with libsoup-2.34* ? I cannot test atm with stable system..feel free to ping me when the stablereq is near. Maybe Dustin could check this also :-) (In reply to comment #15) > Are you able to reproduce this with libsoup-2.34* ? (In reply to comment #17) > Maybe Dustin could check this also :-) Okay, took some time as glibc was update beforehand, sorry for the delay. I unmask libsoup-2.34.1 and all its reverse deps and everything compiled fine and no test failures here on my sparc box. Thumbs up! Will close for now then as I am also unable to reproduce, feel free to reopen if it reappears |
